We’re talking about how these vintage pencil boxes used to have hidden compartments for you to stash your secret collection of baseball cards, chewing gum or the answers to test papers in class.

These ones are most likely made in Taiwan in the 1980s as their (super cute illustrated) product label are in Chinese text.

These pencil boxes are old unused deadstock but as they have been stored away for decades, they have signs of wear and tear including dirt marks, dust, scratches, smudges, some discolouration, oxidation and so on. Please look at all photos carefully.

Measures about 23cm by 14cm (please note that the pencil boxes are quite odd-shaped in a wavy way) each when closed.
