Reading is a good habit to adopt but don’t let your parents catch you under the covers with one of these grownup comic novels!

This is a vintage Hong Kong comic book produced in the 1960s or 1970s. The title translates loosely as “One Lovelorn Ghost”.

It has pages and pages of intricately rendered illustrations of women in cheongsam and what I think are some dramatic incidents involving spirits and sleazy men. Some of the illustrations are raunchy (think women in bathtubs) by 1960s standards. The text is in Chinese.

As these are very vintage paper products, please expect signs of wear and tear including creases, yellowing, some tears, discolouration, oxidation on the staple binders and so on. Please look at all photos carefully.
