If you have a bucket list to tick off when it comes to collecting vintage coin banks, this bucket coin box would be on it!

This is a vintage new deadstock children’s metal tin coin box from the 1980s or 1990s. It has never been used and is brand new. It is shaped like a bucket, complete with a handle, and has many cute illustrations of cats whom I presume are part of the prestigious Miao Miao Club!

The handle can be lifted up and down but it is a little stiff from age. There is a coin slot on the lid for you to save your pennies and the lid can be removed when you need to count your cash!

This is in very good and clean condition for its age but as with all vintage products, especially metal ones like this, please expect some minor signs of wear and tear including slight oxidation on the metal joint parts, discolouration, scratches and so on. Some portions of the body also have a “crackled” texture. I’m not sure if this was originally from the manufacturing process or if it is a condition due to the age.
