Decades ago, someone decided to breathe fresh life into what were just bales of yarn or wool and came up with these two cute handmade animal dolls!
These are vintage toys from the 1970s or earlier, and are most likely from Japan. They are made of what feels like bales of rough mohair wool to me. The heads are made of styrofoam balls and the eyes and accessories are made of felt.

As these are vintage dolls, please expect signs of wear and tear including dirt marks, ageing and yellowing, discolouration and so on. Please look at all photos carefully.
